Leonardo and Wade went to the Worlds Powerlifting Competition in Las Vegas. Leonardo received Gold for his division with total amount lifted being 1,118 lbs in squats, bench and deadlift. The lifters were between 16-82 years old from the US, Canada, Iceland, Egypt and Nigeria. It was a great experience for both students.

The team competed in Bakersfield CA. Our students were one of the youngest students competing and all won 1st metals under their age and how much they can lift. We received many compliments about their technique and ability to lift by professional coaches, powerlifters and national referees. These students made LGHS proud!
