Le Grand Union High School and Hazel have a shared goal: To ensure every student has access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial, insurance or immigration status. Why? Because healthy students learn better.
Hazel connects students to health care providers with the touch of a button on an iPad. Students get quality care, without leaving school. Parents don't miss work, and no need for a bus ride to the doctor's office (or the ER).
Services include:
- Urget Care
- Health Screenings
- Patient education
- Provider ordered over-the counter medications and/or prescriptions
- Referrals to health care professionals, school and community resources

Q: How Much Does Hazel Cost?
A: Hazel is provided by your school District at no cost to families
Q: How many visits do students get?
A: There is no limit on the number of visits.
Q: How does this affect insurance?
A: A visit with Hazel will have no impact on your coverage. You will not receive a bill for any services provided.
Q: What if my child already sees a doctor?
A: No problem. Hazel is a complimentary service at school for students and will not affect any other medical care. In fact, Hazel is happy to work with your current doctor and provide any information from a Hazel visit.
