Le Grand Union High School and Hazel have a shared goal: to ensure every student has access to quality healthcare, regardless of financial, insurance or immigration status. Healthy students learn better.
Hazel connects students to health care providers with the touch of a button on an iPad. Students get quality care without leaving school. Parents don't miss work, and there’s no need for a bus ride to the doctor’s office or ER.

- Health Screenings
- Patient education
- Provider-ordered over-the-counter medications and/or prescriptions
- Referrals to health care professionals, school and community resources

- How much does Hazel cost?
- Hazel is provided by your school district at no cost to families.
- How many visits do students get?
- There is no limit on the number of visits.
- How does this affect insurance?
- A visit with Hazel will have no impact on your coverage. You will not receive a bill for any services provided.
- What if my child already sees a doctor?
- No problem. Hazel is a complimentary service at school and will not affect any other medical care. Hazel is happy to work with your current doctor and provide any information from a Hazel visit.
