Applicants must be high school seniors residing in one of the eight counties of Caltrans District 10 – Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, San Joaquin, Mariposa, Merced, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne. Eligible Scholarship candidates will be planning to pursue an education in a trade that relates to Caltrans Maintenance and Operations (for example; Diesel Equipment Technician, Electrical Technology, Heavy Equipment Operator, Welding Technology, Landscaping, etc.) Qualifying institutions include community colleges and trade schools within the eight counties of Caltrans District 10.
