Eighth Annual Leadership Conference

Le Grand High School Restorative Justice League and IMPACT After School Program is pleased to host our Eighth Annual Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Le Grand High School. This free youth development conference is available for 7th-12th grade students in Merced County. Our conference offers a safe place for students to gather, learn and embrace their past, present and future.

Here are some reasons to encourage your students to attend this event:

  • Students will be able to connect to self, others, school and community.
  • Students will learn the power of positive thinking, create bonds and trust with other youth.
  • Students will understand how much power youth have to create change in their school and communities.
  • Students will learn the process to facilitate Restorative Justice circles.
  • Students will learn about Restorative Justice practices such as conflict resolution, restoring equity and communication skills.
  • Workshops are student led and supported by after school staff.
  • Workshops range from bullying, drug prevention, mental health, college, arts, physical activities and much more.
